Trauma, addiction, and mental health struggles are all too familiar for countless people in Canada. These challenges often feel like overwhelming mountains, blocking the light and making it hard to see the path ahead.

Yet, there is no reason for anyone to walk this path alone. My name is Jessica Maronski, and as a Registered Psychotherapist with over a decade of experience, I am here to be by your side and find a way through.

My approach to holistic care is neither formulaic nor prescriptive. Rather, it is compassionate and patient. I blend evidence-based therapies, such as CBT, ACT, DBT with somatic techniques and energy medicine to nurture and support one meaningful step at a time.

Highly qualified, my training is built on a solid foundation of specialized education from Aura institute Integrative Therapeutics where I have obtained accredited certifications, including a Psychotherapist Registration. Moreover, I continue to update my knowledge through ongoing learning and online courses to stay abreast of the latest mental health research and best practices in the field, such as Internal Family Systems and EMDR, and include mindfulness practices for a comprehensive approach to whole body, mind and soul healing.

With my extensive knowledge and practical experience, I have developed a personalized approach to therapy that empowers each of my clients on their unique journey toward self-discovery. More importantly, I come with an open mind and a genuine passion for aiding them towards healing.

In my judgment-free practice, my clients lead the way, and I offer support and guidance tailored to their individual needs. No thought, concern, or experience is insignificant or unworthy of attention. Every emotion is valid, and every story deserves to be heard.

With my warm and welcoming nature, I embrace my clients with love and cheerfulness from the moment we meet. I strive to bring light and positivity to their lives, lifting spirits and reminding them of the vitality we all share. With this care and optimism, I have helped numerous individuals overcome significant challenges, such as:

❖ Surviving Human Trafficking: This experience can leave deep emotional and psychological wounds. I provide a safe space to process this trauma, rebuild an identity, and create a base for liberation and restoration. My therapy focuses on empowering survivors to rebuild their lives, while establishing healthy boundaries and relationships along the way.

❖ Living with Addiction: Addiction is an isolating and demanding struggle, yet it is not an insurmountable obstacle. We can confront this issue by working together to understand the root cause, identify triggers, and develop healthy coping mechanisms. My approach will help you regain control and find a constructive path forward.

❖ Recovering From Addiction: Recovery is deeply personal. No two people experience in the same way. My therapy is grounded in individualized plans specially designed to meet your needs and goals. I aim to equip you with practical tools and techniques that ensure long-term recovery and relapse prevention.

❖ Managing Mental Health Conditions: Mental health challenges can range from anxiety and depression, to more encompassing conditions such as Borderline Personality Disorder and BiPolar Disorder. Each has a unique impact on our thoughts, emotions, and daily lives, and should always be addressed with utmost care and understanding. Through regular one-on-one sessions, we can find the healthiest way to manage your symptoms and improve your overall well-being.

❖ Navigating Complex PTSD: There are certain ordeals that cannot be clearly defined or explained because their effects are so far-reaching and deeply intertwined with one's sense of self. Oftentimes, negative feelings such as shame, guilt, and fear prevent many from seeking help. I offer a safe, supportive space to be honest and speak your truths. Together, we will begin a healing journey, free from judgment and full of understanding.

In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I have built a strong community network of social workers, therapists, and mental health advocates as a resource and support for my clients. Through collaboration and teamwork, we create a continuum of care that embraces our clients, motivating them to move closer to healing and growth.

My days are filled with meaningful work supporting those looking for guidance, as well as precious moments spent with my most cherished companion, my son. Born in 2020, my son has brought endless joy and wonder into my life. I relish every opportunity to embrace adventure with him. Together, we explore the outdoors, hiking, bike riding, cooking, and discovering new paths. Through my son, I have found an abundance of inspiration and love, which I use to strengthen my resolve and serve my clients every day of the week.

With this passion for life and people, I guide my clients toward a deeper understanding of themselves and their experiences, helping them find and maintain balance and harmony with their external environments and within their souls. As I continue my efforts, I hope to expand my practice, instil hope, and offer practical guidance to help thousands find self-love, self-respect, wholeness, and gratitude.

If you are seeking a compassionate ear and a supportive guide, I believe I can help. Please don't hesitate to connect with me and schedule an appointment. Let's work together to chip away at the mountains blocking your light and clear the path to personal healing and fulfillment.
