As a therapist, I am passionate about supporting individuals through some of life’s most challenging transitions. Through my own personal journey with psychotherapy, I can understand how important it is to have confidence in your therapist in a comfortable and empathetic environment. Although I work with clients with a wide range of stressors, my specialties include aging and life transitions, eating disorders, body image and self-esteem, and stress and burnout. I understand that these areas can profoundly impact one’s well-being, and I am dedicated to helping clients navigate these complexities with compassion and understanding.
Aging and life transitions often bring feelings of loss, fear, and uncertainty, affecting not just the individual but also their families and support systems. I take a holistic approach that addresses the emotional, psychological, and relational aspects of these challenges, fostering resilience and connection. By working together, we can navigate these complexities and create a fulfilling, meaningful life, regardless of the obstacles you face.
As a therapist specializing in eating disorders, I provide compassionate care focused on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for healing. With training in Eating Disorder Sensitivity through the Body Peace Collaborative, I help clients explore and heal their relationship with food, body image, and self-worth. Drawing on personal experience with self-esteem, body image, stress, and burnout, I bring a deep understanding and empathy to my work. I also specialize in stress management and burnout recovery, helping clients find balance, rebuild confidence, and develop sustainable strategies for long-term well-being.
I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from a variety of frameworks including cognitive-behavioral therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and humanistic theories. This flexibility allows me to tailor our work together to meet your unique needs and preferences. My goal is to provide you with tools and insights that resonate with your personal experience.
