Madison Farr

Hi, I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who works with families, individuals & couples. I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Sociology from the University of Guelph.

I will walk alongside you on a transformative journey toward greater self-awareness, balance, & resilience. As an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, I prioritize comfort & empowerment for all my clients. I adopt a holistic approach to psychotherapy that aims to inspire lasting change & support individuals in unlocking their full potential for a fulfilling & meaningful life. With a deep understanding of the basis of psychotherapy, I employ a range of techniques & interventions tailored to the unique needs of each client. I blend evidence-based practices with client history to create a personalized treatment plan that is both effective & sustainable.

If you're navigating the loss of a loved one, please know that you don’t have to face it alone. Grief can show up in so many ways—sadness, anger, guilt, numbness, even physical exhaustion—and it can feel incredibly isolating. In our work together, I will offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can talk openly about your loved one, your memories, and the pain you’re carrying. Whether you're feeling stuck in your grief or just beginning to process the loss, I will support you with care and understanding. Together, we’ll explore your experience and find ways to honor your loss while gently moving toward healing and hope.

Living with ADHD can feel overwhelming—like you're constantly trying to catch up or stay focused while the world moves at a different pace. Whether you're struggling with attention, impulsivity, restlessness, or managing daily tasks, I’m here to support you with empathy and practical strategies. Together, we’ll work on understanding how ADHD shows up in your life, identify your unique strengths, and develop tools to help you build structure, boost confidence, and improve emotional regulation. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you feel seen, understood, and empowered to thrive—just as you are.

If you find yourself constantly putting others' needs before your own, struggling to set boundaries, or feeling responsible for other people's emotions, you may be experiencing patterns of codependency. In our work together, we’ll gently explore these dynamics and how they may be affecting your relationships and sense of self. I’ll help you reconnect with your own needs, values, and identity, while building the confidence to create healthy, balanced relationships. Healing from codependency is a courageous step, and I’m here to support you every step of the way with care, compassion, and practical tools for lasting change.
